Jalal Prize to present certificates

The 9th Jalal Al-e Ahmad Literary Awards is set to grant First Class Arts Certificates to seven writers.

The certificates will be awarded to the writers during the event’s closing ceremony on December 24 to be held in the capital city of Tehran.

Majid Qeisari, Hedayatollah Behboudi, Davoud Ghafarzadegan, Misagh Amirfajr, Reza Amirkhani, Aboutorab Khosravi and Mohammad Reza Kateb will be the recipients of the prestigious literary award.

The awards will be given to the authors by Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Reza Salehi Amiri.

Jalal Jalal Al-e Ahmad Literary Awards has been presented annually since 2008. The award is given to the best Iranian authors on the birthday anniversary of the late Iranian writer Jalal Al-e Ahmad.
